This style of music reached the same popularity level of seventys disko in only 10 years.Your grandpa getting down on the floor and moving to disco won’t be forgotten. It is now permanet history.
Actually, that was that time and in the present we are making history with every moment. Even on xm radio Electro House has it’s own dedicated station. More and more remixes of hip hop songs hit the clubs after they’ve been remixed with this style. Anyone who has ever been to a club more than once, probably has heard some shape of electro house.
So where did it all begin? As with most music history, it isn’t certain. Everyone wants to claim the fame, but no one can be certain. It was in the early 2000s when a big movement of electroclash being mixed with synth pop. Meanwhille, tech house was also becoming more known and gaining some serious buzz. With the right events happening at the right times, the two were mixed hapilly. Electro clash being mellow and more relaxing as opposed to tech house which was had more energy and randomness created a hell of a mix. At first it might seem as if this isn’t something to go nutz for, but when people heard it they went crazy over it. Everyone who heard it could not deny that they didn’t like it.
With so many artist attempting to recreate this style only one was able to reach serious world fame from it. Mixing both electroclash and tech house he was able to create music that moved people. The main hit was “Satisfaction”. The song blew up and went viral around the globe, topping all charts. It won world wide rewards as well as make Benny Benassi the father of Electro House. Soon after this hit many more artist with this style came out as well.
